Dr. Rebecca Monticello has been passionate about orthodontics since childhood, first experiencing the field as a patient in this very office under her uncle, Dr. John Monticello.
She attended Michigan State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA before earning her dental degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she finished at the top of her class.
She then completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Detroit Mercy, training in both cutting-edge and traditional treatment methods to provide the best possible care for her patients.

The clear aligners system can only work if the recommended guidelines are followed exactly! Aligners should be worn 20 – 22 hours per day throughout treatment. If patients neglect to wear the aligners as directed, it can impede the results and also add time to the orthodontic process.
Clear aligners are at their most efficient when correcting many of the most common orthodontic issues. For some complex cases, clear aligners may not be a good option.
